Characterization of the traveling standard for an international comparison of DC voltage ratio

An international comparison of DC voltage ratio for voltages up to 1000 V has been started. It is one of the key-comparisons of electrical quantities selected by the CCEM in order to foster mutual recognition of the national measurement standards and calibration certificates issued by National Metrological Institutes. The results of the work carried out by IEN, the pilot laboratory of the comparison, in order to characterize a voltage divider are reported. Drift and dependence on ambient conditions of this divider were found low enough to justify its use as the traveling standard in the comparison.
