ISGW Characteristic Impedance Calculation Based on Conformal Mapping

Integrated Substrate Gap Waveguide (ISGW) is a newly proposed planar waveguide, which has the characteristics of low loss, easy integration and self-encapsulation, and is especially suitable for millimeter wave systems. Related waveguides have been widely used in the research and design of millimeter wave devices and antennas. However, no theoretical study has been made on the propagation characteristics of the waveguide, such as dispersion and characteristic impedance. Therefore, this paper will use conformal mapping method to study the characteristic impedance of ISGW waveguide.
