Dermatophyten-Infektionen der Haut, Haare und Nägel – ein Update

Tinea pedis ! Prävalenz Die Fußpilzinfektion oder Tinea pedis ist in der Bevölkerung sehr verbreitet. Eine 1999 veröffentlichte europäische Studie [1] fand eine Prävalenz der Tinea pedum von 22% unter nicht ausgewählten Patienten, die wegen unterschiedlicher Erkrankungen und Probleme in dermatologischen Praxen behandelt wurden. In Risikogruppen, z.B. unter Obdachlosen, ist die Prävalenz der Tinea mit 38% sogar noch deutlich höher [2].
