Bond graph and port-controlled hamiltonian model of doubly-fed wind power system

Considering the energy transformation essence of doubly-fed wind power system (DFWPS), this paper proposes the use of the bond graph methodology to realize the energy representation of the DFWPS. The total bond graph, integrated by the electromechanical sub-model and the converter sub-model, spans mechanical, electrical and magnetic energy domains. Through the detailed bond graphs of sub-models and the total bond graph of the system, the corresponding port-controlled Hamiltonian (PCH) models for subsystems and the whole system are also extracted. Finally, the bond graph and the PCH model of DFWPS are validated by the simulations in 20sim.
