Multi-objective Economic Emission Load Dispatch using Grey Wolf Optimization

This paper presents grey wolf optimization method for solving multi-objective economic emission load dispatch (EELD) problem in diverse test power systems. Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) is a new meta-heuristic motivated from grey wolf. Diverse emission gases considered for the case studies are SOx, NOx and COx. GWO is applied on diverse test cases for finding EELD solution. Comparison of the obtained results is carried out with other techniques stated in literature which shows that GWO is effective to solve EELD.
