Two-quadrant reversible resonance convertor application: DC/AC supply

The authors propose a DC/three-phase AC convertor capable of supplying a load with unknown power factor. This structure uses the principle of two-quadrant reversible resonance DC/DC convertors with natural switching. After the topology of the reversible convertor, a grapho-analytic study allows determination of the operating characteristics and principles of control of such a structure for use in fashioning a DC/AC supply. A method of dimensioning is proposed. Practical results illustrate the functioning of the DC/DC resonant structure, and those of the alternative DC/AC structure are also given.
