Oscillations and possible transition to optical chaos in phase-conjugate waves in self-pumped BaTiO3 AT 514.5 nm

Abstract Experimental results are reported on oscillations of phase-conjugate wave in self-pumped BaTiO 3 for various input powers and input angles. Both temporal evolution and power spectra of various types of oscillation, from the regular to transition to possible optical chaos, have been investigated. New results on the power and angular dependence of the primary frequency of phase- conjugate oscillation are also presented.
