Performance of wideband CDMA with TDD scheme

This paper overviews the performance of wideband CDMA with time division duplex for the third generation mobile communication systems. The W-CDMA-TDD system is attractive for the application to the FPLMTS frequency band, since the TDD scheme has flexibility of spectrum allotment and the improved transmission performance with base station antenna diversity and simplified open loop transmitter power control.
