Establishment and application of matrix method to test homology

Matrix theory is a subject which is used widely in many fields.This paper combined it with homology testing.Firstly,this paper defined a formula reflecting the homology between two sequences from the point of synonymous codon.Then,to test the homology of any one subset in S with the other one in T,established matrix and defined a kind of operation in it.This way was named matrix method,and conducted gradual search based on it.By using the specific sequences in GenBank to carry numerical value testing and comparing the result with MEGA software,it proves that the matrix method is scientific and reasonable.
