Research on fuzzy PID control of double closed-loop DC speed tuning system

In connection with the problem that disturbance of voltage and load change lead to the performance deterioration of the conventional PID controller in a DC speed tuning system,presented a two closed-loop fuzzy PID control method.Through fuzzy logic reference,this method dynamically tuned the parameters of PID controller adaptively according to the speed error e and its variety rate ec.Comparison of performance between this method and the conventional one was carried out by simulations in ideal idling state,load disturbance and voltage disturbance respectively.The results indicate that two methods enjoy same stable performance in ideal idling state.In the situation of load disturbance and voltage disturbance,the fuzzy PID control method enjoyed a less drop in speed and takes less time to return to the equilibrium condition.Therefore,fuzzy PID control method guarantees tracking and anti-jamming performance of a DC speed regulation system.
