Clinical use of radiostrontium in evaluation of spondylitis.

Analysis of external measurements of the Sr85 uptake by lesions in different stages of development and treatment in a large series of patients with a firm diagnosis of spondylitis warranted the following conclusions. 1. The method is useful in the early diagnosis of clinically and roentgenographically dubious primary lesions and recurrences. 2. The method cannot differentiate between tuberculous and septic spondylitis.
