Experimental evaluation of the effect of polarization scrambling speed on the performance of PMD mitigation using FEC

Evaluation of the effect of polarization scrambling speed on PMD mitigation using FEC was carried out experimentally. It was found that the polarization scrambling speed could severely affect the performance of FEC.
