WCDMA PCS Handset Front End Module

A compact handset front-end module (FEM) is developed for the third generation wide band CDMA application in PCS band. This module uses Skyworks' switched load insensitive power amplifier (LIPAreg) technology. It operates at high and low power modes for good PAE and linearity. The low mode PAE is enhanced using analog bias control circuit. The FEM is optimized for low output power variation under mismatch load. It has extremely good ruggedness. It performs very well over temperature and has >55dB Tx-to-Rx isolation
