Method for connecting a phone using voice over ip and bluetooth

PURPOSE: A call connection method using a Bluetooth and a VoIP(Voice over IP) is provided to expand the coverage of a mobile phone by simply installing a Bluetooth access point at a shadow area in a building. CONSTITUTION: A user database in a Bluetooth access point sets up VoIP service use information, including the location registration information and phone number of a mobile phone, the Internet address of a location server, and VoIP gateway information, under the control of a control part(301). The Bluetooth access point checks whether the mobile phone approaches a Bluetooth service area(303). In case that the mobile phone is within the Bluetooth service area, the Bluetooth access point checks whether VoIP services are available using the phone number of the mobile phone(305). If it is judged that VoIP services are available for the mobile phone, A mobile network obtains the authentication of a location server for the VoIP service authority between the Bluetooth access point and the mobile phone(306). The Bluetooth access point registers parameters equivalent to the location information of the mobile phone, set up in the user database, in the location server(307). Before the location information of the mobile phone is registered, the location server stores location information at the previous mobile network as auxiliary location information(309) and enters a standby state(311).
