A method for verifying an account operation, comprising: in a server system (108) having one or more processors and a memory: obtaining (302) a request for verification from a first (104-1) device for an operation of account requested by a user using a first account, including the verification request information associated with the first account and a device ID associated with the first device (104-1); identifying (304, 404), from the server system (108), usage history data associated with the first account, which includes data regarding the use of the first account in the first device (104-1); determine (306, 406, 408), according to the data with respect to the use of the first account in the first device (104-1) and one or more predetermined usage history criteria, if the account operation associated with the first account in the first device (104-1) is secure; and in accordance with a determination that the account operation associated with the first account in the first device (104-1, 408) is not secure, initiate (306, 410) a verification process based on a second device (104-40). 2) qualified as safe for the account operation based on usage history data associated with one or more user accounts and one or more predefined usage history criteria, characterized in that one or more accounts include a second account linked to the first account, and wherein initiating the verification process based on the second device (104-2) further comprises: identifying the second device (104-2) based on one or more predetermined usage history criteria and history data of use associated with the second account, wherein the usage history data includes data regarding the use of the second account in the second device (104-2); promoting (412) that the user perform a specific interaction involving the first device (104-1) and the second device (104-2); and providing (420) a verification response to the first device (104-1) in accordance with a verification of the interaction between the first device (104-1) and the second device (104-2), or the step of identifying the second device comprises: detecting a registered device that is currently registered in the first account; determining, in accordance with the usage history data of the first account, including usage history data associated with the registered device, and based on one or more predetermined usage history criteria, if the account operation associated with the first account in the registered device is secure; and in accordance with a determination that the account operation associated with the first account in the registered device is secure, identify the device registered as the second device (104-2) for use in the verification process, or the step of identifying the second device comprises: detecting a registered device that is currently registered to a second account associated with the user that is linked to the first account; determine, in accordance with the usage history data of the second account, which include usage history data associated with the registered device, and based on one or more predetermined usage history criteria, if a predetermined operation associated with the Second account on the registered device is secure; and in accordance with a determination that the predetermined operation associated with the second account in the registered device is secure, identify the device registered as the second device (104-2) for use in the verification process.
