The Research on Shape Context Based on Gait Sequence Image

Agaitfeatureextractionmethodbasedonresamplingshapecontextisproposedinthisarticle.First, themovingtargetdetectioniscarriedouttoobtainthetargetareaofthehumanbody.Second,the gaitcycleismeasured,andthecontourpointsandthelowerlimbjointsareselectedassampling points.Then,thedifferentsamplingpointsisplacedinthepolarcoordinatesoftheorigin,thenumber ofsamplingpointsindifferentcellsiscountedastheshapecontext;Finally,thefeaturevectorsare constructedaccordingtotheshapecontext,andtheminimumdistanceisusedforclassificationand recognition.SimulationexperimentsbasedonresamplingshapecontextaretestedinCASIAgait DatabaseAandDatabaseB.Theexperimentalresultsshowthatthemethodproposedinthisarticle hasalowercomputationalcomplexityandhigherrecognitionratewhencomparedwiththeoriginal shapecontextmethod,whichcanbeusedforgaitrecognition.
