High voltage passive harmonic filter design

This paper presents a developed graphic user interface (GUI)-based program for high-voltage passive harmonic filter design. The developed program composes of four modules: load flow analysis, harmonic analysis, passive harmonic filter design, and capacitor bank design. Simulation results of a case study on 13-bus balanced transmission systems are summarized. Three types of externally fused capacitor bank design are described.
