The invention discloses an electric appliance and a method, a device and a system for standby control of the electric appliance. The standby control method includes: controlling a main chip and a signal receiving device to be in a state of low power consumption within a first preset time and in a state of continuous operation within a second preset time when the electric appliance stands by; detecting whether the signal receiving device receives a starting control signal which includes a awakening signal and a commanding signal or not when the main chip and the signal receiving device are in the state of continuous operation; controlling the main chip and the signal receiving device to maintain the state of continuous operation when the single receiving device receives the awakening signal; and controlling the electric appliance to start when the receiving device receives the commanding signal. Power consumption of the electric appliance during standby is lowered, energy is saved, and starting control is unaffected.
