Development of a Genetic Algorithm for Estimation for a DeGroot Opinion Diffusion Model

We present an overview of the development of a genetic algorithm for estimating the parameters of a DeGroot opinion diffusion model over social networks, expanding the use of these models to applications with small data sets.
