A digital watermarking algorithm based on Fractal coding theory

This paper proposes a new method for embedding watermarking into an image on fractal curve and fractal coding. Firstly the host image is split into non-overlapped-size square Range blocks. After the host image is encoded by traditional fractacl coding,the Range blocks is classed by the best matching block position parameter. The binary watermarking image is scrambled by the Hilbert curve before the watermarking embeds lastly,the watermark is embedded into the host image by the Range blocks classes. The experimental results show that the embedded watermark is invisible,and also very robust.
