Loss allocation based on active power flow tracing

The paper presents a method for allocating the active power loss in the system to the load nodes. It also provides the breakdown of how much each generator is providing for the loss share of each load. The method is based on virtual power flow tracing using P-δ approximation and superposition theorem. The method is illustrated on a 10 bus equivalent of 400kV part of Indian southern grid.
