User Preference Recommendation on Mobile Car Parking Application

Parking system has not been considered to be a new system because it can be found in our daily life especially in the big city. This system is developed to facilitate both the car park and car driver. However, there are a few mobile parking application support the car driver to find an available parking slot. This paper proposes a mobile car parking application that can recommend a parking slot to the car driver. We studied that which the user preference was the suitable content used in recommending of the parking system context and implemented it to ensure that it could work with the acceptable performance. An experiment was set up to verify entire functional accuracy, especially for the recommendation module. The experiment showed that the performance of using user preference - visited store, is suitable in recommending a parking slot rather than other user preferences.
