초ㆍ중ㆍ고등학교 교양농업교육을 위한 농업관련교과의 연계방안 연구

The purpose of this study was to explore a system of linkages among school subjects related to agriculture for general agricultural education in elementary, middle, and high schools. This study was conducted through reviewing available literature, analyzing the agricultural contents of the Sixth Curriculum, surveying what teachers taught' about agriculture, and following the expert panel's recommendations. As the results, this study suggested specific strategies that reflect general agriculture into school subjects in the next national curriculum and textbook revision. Secondly, this study provided strategies for effective implementing the curriculum in terms of subjects, extracurricular activities, and optional activities. Thirdly, this study also developed strategies for the educational support, including the inservice training for teachers, the system for sharing information and resources about agriculture, the network system among agriculture-related experts, and the agricultural literacy program for administrators and parents. In addition, several recommendations were made for further research and policy in general agricultural education.
