E-commerce website evaluation is of great significance in e-commerce development. In view of the problems existing in traditional TOPSIS, this paper presents an improved TOPSIS method based on the worst suppositional value vector in evaluating e-commerce website. In order to enhance the objectivity and efficiency of evaluation, the relative closeness degree of each evaluated object is adopted and the entropy is used to calculate the index weight in the new method. The modeling steps of comprehensive evaluation are given. The Studies have been conducted to apply the improved method to the actual websites evaluation. The results show that the linked sites, page views, users reach are the decisive factors for the competitive ability of e-commerce website, and the improved TOPSIS method is more objective and reasonable than traditional TOPSIS. This paper offers a new method and thought for e-commerce website evaluation.
