Flights of Imagination: Fostering Creativity through Experiential Learning

An experiential approach for enhancing students' abilities to think and behave creatively is presented. The role of creativity in entrepreneurship education is becoming more significant as students and entrepreneurs are confronted with new problems that demand more integrative responses. Several experiential methods, both conceptual and behavioral, are discussed, and applications to entrepreneurship courses are suggested. With strengthened creative abilities, students will gain an advantage as they enact new roles in the marketplace as innovators and entrepreneurs.
