Algorithm 480: Procedures for computing smoothing and interpolating natural splines

Abstract : Algol procedures are presented which implement the algorithms of computation of smoothing and interpolating natural splines via local bases. These procedures permit the computation of the spline coefficients and the evaluation of the splines and their derivatives for several problems in interpolation and smoothing. (Author)
