Multimodel field oriented control of induction motors with or without fuzzy logic

This paper deals with the implementation of an induction motor control strategy, in which two methods to compute the stator electrical frequency are combined to reduce the flux control sensitivity to parameter uncertainties. The combination of both methods can be done with or without fuzzy logic. It is shown in this paper that fuzzy logic needs more computing time than others simpler solutions, but fuzzy logic associated to a theoretical sensitivity analysis is an helpful tool to determine the combination functions.
