catena -Poly[[trimethyltin(IV)]--2- p -tolylacetato-? 2 O : O ']

The title compound, [Sn(CH3)3(C9H9O2)], forms polymeric chains involving both O atoms of the carboxylate group. The coordination geometry around the Sn atom is distorted trigonal–bipyramidal.
