Method and device for uplink transmission in random access process

The present invention relates to the field of communication technologies, particularly to a method and a device for uplink transmission in random access, used for increasing the success rate of a contention-based random access process. The method for uplink transmission in random access provided in the embodiment of the invention comprises: after receiving a random access response message sent by a network side device, user equipment (UE) selecting a pilot signal from a plurality of pilot signals indicated by pilot signal parameter information delivered by the network side device; the UE transmitting, on the time-frequency resource indicated in the random access response message, uplink user data and the selected pilot signal to the network side device. Using the embodiment of the prevent invention, when a plurality of UEs have transmitted, on the same random access resource, the same random access preamble, the probability of a plurality of UEs using different pilot signals when transmitting uplink user data can be increased, and thus the success rate of a contention-based random access process can be improved.
