Study on power factor control technique of doubly fed machine

Power factor control technique of the doubly fed machine is studied theoretically and experimentally in this paper. The expression of power factor angle and control characteristic of power factor are derived based on the field orientation control theory of the doubly fed machine. The experimental system has been designed and built based on 8XC196MC single-chip-computer. The experiment and simulation results show that the proposed scheme is feasible and practicable.
