Simulation analysis of forming process and spring-back for automotive B-column structural reinforcement panel based on AutoForm software

B-column structural reinforcement panel was taken as an example for simulation analysis of AutoForm software in this paper.Firstly,the setting method of whole process was introduced.Then,the setting method of spring-back was introduced.Through simulation,the formability can be drudged as good or bad,and the spring-back trend also can be estimated.In order to obtain a qualified part,measures can be taken to improve the formability of B-column structural reinforcement panel according to the analysis results,which improves that AutoForm software simulation is practical in the mold development process of automotive panel.
