COMPUTER RESERVATION SYSTEM COVERAGE FOR U.S. DOMESTIC AIRLINES IMPLICATION FOR PASSENGER PROFILING.

Abstract : This report details Computer Reservations System (CRS) coverage of U.S. domestic airlines. Specifically, this report assesses the number of U.S. Domestic airline passengers whose travel is not covered in a CRS. This number will be used to decide a manual domestic passive profiling system, tailored for passengers not covered by CRS, is required to augment an automated system that is currently being developed. This report concludes that the number of passengers not covered by a CRS is small, that development of a manual instrument is not warranted. This report also provides recommendations for the direction of future aviation passenger profiling research.
