Speed Servo System of IPMSM Based on Fuzzy-PI Controller with Voltage Booster

In order to improve the dynamic performance of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM),a fuzzy proportional-integral (PI) hybrid control scheme is proposed to control the speed of IPMSM and the DC-link voltage.The speed servo system consists of a voltage booster to control the DC-link voltage and a conventional pulse width modulation (PWM) inverter to drive IPMSM for a wide range,and its structure and characteristics are analyzed.Furthermore,the simulated and experimental results show the system has high dy- namic and static performance based on fuzzy-PI controller.
