An Innovative Design of the Construction of a Cool and Comfortable Backpack

The present study proposes a new structure design of an outdoor backpack. The adjustable frame carrier allows a gap between the backpack and the human body. The permeating air in between makes wearers feel cool and less burdened. The frame carrier is made up of two cross bars and two straight bars. There are 4 backup blocks added to the straight bars. The four blocks press against the human back to support the bag. Each backup block is subject to upward, downward, right and left movement, thus allowing users to feel comfort. When climbing up or down the slope, wearers may feel comfort and less air-tight or weighty through adjusting the backup blocks. These study implements two methods: The thick backup blocks keep the human back a little distance away from the backpack, thus allowing air to flow through the gap, and the backup blocks satisfy different body type. This innovative and practical construction, which takes coolness and comfort into the first consideration, can apply to all kinds of backpacks.
