A modified resonance theory is provided to analysis waveguide circulators with ferrite specimens. Based on the design of ferrite specimens for given frequencies, a simplistic fast approach is provided to evaluate the external performances of waveguide circulators. Good agreements between the analytically obtained performances and experimental results of various MMW waveguide circulators are observed.
