Accident Analyses of Optimal Designed Nuclear Power Plant

The design of nuclear power plant can be optimized by optimal selection of the operational and the structural parameters in a reasonable way. To verify the performance of the optimal scheme, the RELAP5 code is employed to study the transient behaviors of the optimal scheme and its prototype under loss of feed water accident and station blackout accident. The results show that for the two schemes, the core safety can be ensured under these two accidents.
