Preparing a Robotic Program and Surgeon Training Regimen for Hernia and Abdominal Wall

Robots present a nice combination of engines, precise instruments, software, and hardware harmonization to turn into a surgical instrument to be used in different areas. But how to do it and how to apply something new in a conservative field were the challenges go beyond technical limits. The machine is a good instrument to use against the abdominal wall, in the ceiling, from inside the peritoneal cavity, to make sutures, but at the beginning not everyone could see that. We are using robotic surgery in hernia nowadays and we are going inside the abdominal wall as fast as we are understanding the technology.
