Parallel computation of sound field by OpenMP-based PE model

With the developments of theory and technology of underwater acoustics,an efficient method for sound field calculation is very important.The emergence and popularity of PC with multi-core technology will give us a great opportunity to improve the efficiency.The parallel programming of the parabolic equation model RAM is implemented in this paper on the basis of the OpenMP,a Portable Shared Memory Parallel Programming.The numerical simulation demonstrates that the parallel programming of RAM achieves high efficiency.
