Evaluation of Pressure Losses in Blade Rings of Axial Mine Fans and Substantiation of Their Rational Design Parameters

The design results of pressure losses in blade rings are given, and a procedure is proposed for selecting aerodynamic circuits and substantiating the range of rational design parameters for new axial mine fans. The range of design parameters is found for pressure and air consumption in fans with working wheels 2100, 2400, 3000, and 3500 mm in diameter. The parameters make it possible to evaluate the fan efficiency under prescribed conditions as well as choose the basic and optional aerodynamic circuits of working wheel already at the designing stage.
