Study on flow field of serial drum filter

The serial drum filter is a kind of filter-press,which structure and operating principle is introduced,which flow field is numerically simulated by applying software of FLUENT.As you know the performance of the filter depends mainly on the pressure in compressing area.Different operating parameters may produce different effect to the flow field,in which revolving speed of big drum,revolving speed of small drum and entrance pressure are the main impact parameters.By applying orthogonal designs the impact of a variety of operating parameters on the field is calculated,then primary and secondary sequences of those factors for impacting filtering effect are analyzed Thus optimal operating plan is determined combining the simulating as well as the layout of the flow field under the plan is obtained.
