A power supply converter from single-phase to three-phase based on balance transformer is proposed,which generatesβ-phase voltage by phase-shift converter,which is orthogonal toα-phase(input)voltage with same amplitude,and then produces symmetric three-phase voltages for load by two-three phase balance transformer.A control strategy of PWM rectifier is given,which compensatesα-phase harmonic current while suppliesβ-phase active current.It suppresses the harmonic current induced by nonlinear three-phase loads and makes the input single-phase current sinusoidal and the power factor higher.Compared with traditional single- three phase converter,the phase-shift converter needs less power devices and bears less power. Simulative result shows that the power supply structure and control strategy are correct and practical.
