A Control Method for Nonlinear Time-delay Systems Based on a Strong Tracking Predictor

A novel time-delay control method-time delay generic model control (TDGMC) for a class of nonlinear systems with input time-delay is presented.A strong tracking predictor (STP) is introduced,which can accurately and effectively predict the future states of a class of nonlinear time-delay systems.By use of these predictors in the feedback control,the effect of time-delay on close-loop systems is eliminated.Thus,the conventional generic model control (GMC) is extended to a class of nonlinear time-delay systems and the TDGMC method is proposed.The simulation results of a three-tank-system verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
