Energy Efficient Sensing, Transmitting Time and Transmission Power for Cognitive Radio Networks

In this paper, optimal design system for energy efficient cooperative cognitive radio network is considered. The problem is formulated, considering the PU protection from SU transmission, with sensing time, transmission time and transmission power is taken as variables. An iterative sub optimal algorithm is proposed that maximizes energy efficiency. The simulation results are analyzed and compared with the previous methods and show improvement in view of energy maximization and complexity.
