Comparative Evaluation of Composite Position Tolerance specifications for patterns of holes

The ASME Y14.5M-1994 Standard provides three distinct composite position tolerance constraints for patterns of features. A simulation is carried out to explore differences in the producibility of these three geometric position tolerance constraints. The influence of the loss of degrees of freedom asociated with the FRTZF of the new variants of composite position tolerance specification.
