Evaluation of non-ideal analog switch for standard-square-wave compensation method in mutual inductance measurement

A standard-square-wave compensation method has been proposed to measure the dc value of mutual inductance precisely in Joule Balance. A set of analog switches are used to generate excitation and compensation waves. Here error from these non-ideal switches is analyzed and evaluated theoretically with a circuit model and experimentally by comparing its difference with a DAC signal generation in the same mutual inductance measurement system. The result shows error from analog switches is 4 parts in 107.
