In order to determine the wind loads on double-skin facade with no-leakage air barrier and to predict the load difference between double-skin facade and single-skin facade, wind tunnel tests on a cylindrical and a rectangular tall building with arc-shape and L-shape double-skin facade respectively were carried out.The analysis was performed on the distributions for the mean and fluctuating wind pressure, the distributions for the extreme positive and negative wind pressures of the full range wind directions. The study indicates that pressures in the draught corridor that act on the external and internal facade at any point are almost the same. The wind load that acts on the whole structure can be decided the same as that of the building with single-skin facade and of the similar shape. The wind load carried by internal facade can be also decided the same as that of single-skin facade, and tends to be safe. And the wind load carried by external facade can make a discount when the facade locates at the middle of the arc-shape or the long side of the L-shape corridor, and should be amplified when the facade locates at the end of the arc-shape or the short side and the turning point of L-shape corridor.
