Selective Inhibitory Action of Fluconazole, an Antifungal Agent of Triazole-Derivative, on Sterol 14-C Demethylation of Candida albicans Cells

ビストリアゾール誘導体であるフルコナゾールのステロール代謝におよぼす影響をCandida albicansの全細胞および無細胞抽出系において検討し,ラット肝におけるコレステロール代謝への作用と比較した.この結果,フルコナゾールによる14-C脱メチル化反応阻害作用は,C.albicansのエルゴステロール代謝に対し極めて選択的に作用し,ラット肝でのコレステロール代謝にはほとんど影響を与えないことが示された.また,これらの結果は,C.albicansと肝ミクロソームのチトクロームp-450との結合親和性の測定結果からも支持された.
