Three-dimensional pneumatic analysis and validation of a power turbine

The present paper simulated the three-dimensional flow field of a power turbine using NUMECA software.According to the gas turbine performance test,and by compared with the computational result,they are in good agreement with each other.The result indicate that this power turbine used aft-load blade profile and concavo-convex meridianal passage,that's why it's performance parameter is perfect.In order to learn about the effect of shroud to turbine,and combined with NUMECA software's characteristic,here bring forward using block grid to simulate,then one stage simulation is done.Moreover,by comparing with advanced aft-load blade profile,the stator's aft-load can reach a higher level.Because of that,in the present paper optimization is done to re-blade the profile,the result indicate that the efficiency improved 0.5%,which means the performance of this turbine can arrive higher standard.
