Influence of phosphorus-slag on properties of hydraulic concrete

Some properties of phosphorus-slag concrete,such as the strength,elastic modulus,ultimate tension,shrinkage,self-volume deformation and adiabatic temperature rise are studied in this paper.The results show that when phosphorus-slag is added into concrete,the strength of hydraulic concrete is not affected,but the ultimate tension,the adiabatic temperature and the shrinkage are all increased.Beside,the elastic modulus and self-volume deformation are reduced when phosphorus-slag and fly ash are added compositely into concrete. The hydration mechanism of phosphorus-slag is also studied in this paper.On the whole the phosphorus-slag can improve some properties of hydraulic concrete and be advantage for dam safety.
