Isoenzyme and Protein Patterns of In Vitro Micropropagated Plantlets of Gentiana Lutea L. after Application of Various Growth Regulators

ABSTRACT The electrophoretic patterns of reduced proteins and ADH, ACPH, EST and GOT from leaves of in vitro micropropagated plantlets of Gentiana lutea L. were investigated. Five variants of Murashige and Skoog (MS) media differing in the type and concentration of growth regulators were used. Qualitative isoenzyme variations between the in vitro plantlets were found for ADH, ACPH and EST, whereas the variations for GOT isoenzymes were only quantitative. The isoenzyme variation was discussed in respect to the differences in the type of growth regulators included in the nutrient media.
